Golden Harvest in Old Town is probably the most popular restaurant in East Lansing and one of the best in Michigan. There are many other great restaurants and bars in West Lansing, but this is the only one with a full service restaurant on the east side.
The restaurant is a bit more American but the food is just as good and the service is so friendly. This bistro serves a variety of new American-style dishes, mixed with local ingredients such as chicken, pork, beef, lamb and pork ribs. In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in East Lansing with a great menu and great service. The authentic taste of the food takes you back to a time when the style of the restaurant was a little more "American" than it is today.
